About Lisa. After earning her BFA in graphic design, Lisa worked in advertising for a few years and left to start her own freelance illustration business under the name TheGumballMachine. While she works on projects for various clients, her abiding interest lies in funky pen and ink children's illustrations. She is currently freelancing part time and works full time in the apparel industry illustrating for a children's clothing company. In addition to illustrating she also paints with acrylics, attempts do-it-yourself projects and enjoys the outdoors more then anything.
